Privacy policy

What we collect

• The email address and language you use to sign up or sign in. With Sign in with Google we receive only your email address (and Google’s confirmation that it is verified); we get no contacts, files or other data and never see your Google password.
• The case details you enter in your account: filing date, category, country of birth and the optional name and employer.
• The USCIS receipt numbers you add, and the case status and history we retrieve for them through USCIS’s official Case Status API. We check only your own cases or cases whose owner has agreed, and stop when you remove a number.
• If you connect Telegram alerts, the chat ID of your conversation with our bot, used only to send alerts and deleted when you disconnect.
• Basic request logs (IP address, browser type) that Cloudflare processes for security and performance.

Estimator inputs

The estimates on the home and timeline pages are calculated in your browser. The dates and employer names you type are not sent to us.

How we use it

Only to send the alerts you asked for and to run Pro features. We never sell or rent personal information and do not use it for advertising.

Third parties

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which also sends our emails. You can sign in with Google, and alerts can go through Telegram. USCIS case statuses come from USCIS’s official API. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your full card number.

Your rights

Unsubscribe at any time, or write to hello@permwatch.com to see or delete your data. We respond within 30 days, including requests under the California Consumer Privacy Act.
